The Asaga (Ohafia) Development Union, ADU, has joined family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate the Accountant General of Abia State, Deaconess Njum Uma Onyemenam, FCA, as she marks her birthday today.

In a goodwill message signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Stanley Mba, the Union described Deaconess Onyemenam as “a testimony of grace, diligence, and excellence” and “a seasoned technocrat, a woman of integrity, and a proud daughter of Amaetiti Uma Ukpai”.

The ADU noted that since her appointment, the Accountant General has brought “transparency, professionalism, and motherly care” to the state treasury, inspiring both her colleagues and the younger generation.

“To us in Asaga Ohafia, you are more than the Accountant General. You are _Nwa UKWU Anyi_, a pillar in our community and a shining example to our daughters,” the statement read. “Your rise to such a strategic office reflects the Asaga spirit and it gives every Asaga child the courage to dream big and work hard.”

The Union prayed for God’s continued preservation, promotion, and prosperity upon her, asking for “greater wisdom like Solomon, long life in good health like Moses, and the favor that distinguished Esther.”

ADU further expressed hope that her new age would “open new doors of impact for Abia State, for Ohafia LGA, and for Asaga Ohafia,” and that her tenure as Accountant General would “end in praise”.

“May your family be blessed. May your sacrifices for our state be rewarded openly. We are proud of you. We celebrate you. We stand with you,” the Union stated.

Deaconess Njum Uma Onyemenam, FCA, hails from Asaga Ohafia in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.
