Asaga Ohafia Development Union Hails Governor Otti’s 3 Years of Infrastructure Growth, Thanks Him for Honouring Rev. Uma Ukpai

The Asaga Ohafia Development Union has congratulated the Executive Governor of Abia State on his 3rd anniversary in office, praising his administration for what it described as “laudable infrastructural development” across the state.

In a message signed by the Union’s President, Chief Okpa Ibekwem Okpa and Secretary Chief Barr. Obinna Kalu, the group said the past three years have brought visible progress in road construction, urban renewal, healthcare, and education.

“Your focus on practical, people-centered projects has restored confidence and given our people renewed hope,” the statement read.

The Union also expressed gratitude to the Governor for honouring Asaga’s spiritual father, the late Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, by naming a road after him. It noted that the gesture reflects respect for faith, service, and the legacies of those who have contributed to Abia State and beyond.

“The people of Asaga Ohafia hold this honour in high regard and will remain eternally appreciative,” the Union stated.

It concluded by praying for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the Governor as he leads the state, and pledged the Union’s continued support for the administration.
